Virgin Bingo Review

Virgin Bingo is part of the Virgin Games family and is wholly owned by the Virgin Group. Quite simply we believe that gaming should be fun and entertaining. It should be rewarding whether you win or lose. That's why at this site you can play the best bingo, slots and video poker around, and we will offer unique prizes unobtainable on any other sites - we want you to have a great time. Of course you can win cash, but look out for the games where there are Virgin products and services on offer too! Because we're a Virgin company you can trust us, and we'll keep all your details safe and secure. So all you need to do is enjoy yourself. Let the Bingo Games begin!

Virgin is one of the best websites in the world of online Bingo. As you would typically expect from a company such as Virgin, the site is top class and so easy to use we were amazed. It boasts a broad range of games, with some progressive jackpots, chat games and some of the slots and video poker games that offer pretty unique prizes that are worth having a look at. Overall Virgin has something for everybody and delivers that something in exactly the way you want it.

Virgin Bingo is the latest gaming site to come onto the scene from the Virgin Games collection. It is instantly recognisable as a Virgin product with the classic Red and White colour scheme and quirky style, which instantly puts you at ease as you sit down to play bingo. Like all of the Virgin Games sites, Virgin Bingo is powered by St Minver, who have their critics as far as online bingo software is concerned. Personally I don’t find their software too bad, although it does have its limitations.

Virgin Bingo is licenced and regulated in Gibraltar under the strict laws of the European Union. The bingo software is developed and maintained by Parlay, who is a leading online gaming software company.

Gameplay - 8/10:
Virgin Bingo has a good variety of 90 ball bingo games, which are available in free play and play for money versions. My particular favourite game is power pots, which you can play any night of the week. With power pots the bingo cards are 25p each or a strip of 6 cards for a £1 and you can win jackpots up to £200 with a guaranteed £1250 given away every night. The cheapest cards I found at Virgin Bingo were 10p each, which isn’t bad considering that they allow you to play for the Saturday night £10,000 super jackpot.

There are some really nice touches in the Virgin Bingo games that make things more fun and exciting. Watch the colours of the cards change when your numbers start coming in, indicating that you’re closing in on a win. If you see a red card appear at the top of the screen you know that you only have one more number to get, which definitely gets the pulse racing. The chat rooms are friendly and I found CM’s were helpful and quite amusing at times. Watch out for the odd celeb dropping in for a game every now and then, occasionally they pop in for a few games.

One down side for me was the way other games like slots, video poker etc don’t open in the same window as your bingo game. This meant I had to switch between my bingo game and whatever I happened to be playing, which is just a tad inconvenient.

Promos - 7.5/10:
You can tell that Virgin Bingo are very confident about their product as every new player is given 10 free bingo cards before they even need to make a deposit. This gives you a chance to give the software a once over before putting any money down. Once you are ready to start playing some more you can get a 100% matched bonus up to £125 to start with. This is a really nice offer and it doesn’t stop there.

The Virgin Bingo loyalty program rewards you when you purchase new cards. For every £1 worth of bingo cards you buy, you receive 10 loyalty points. Get to 1000 points and you get £1 bingo bonus. The cool thing is you can also trade these bingo loyalty points in for Virgin Atlantic Flying club miles, 1000 points = 100 Flying Club miles!

Transactions - 7/10:
One noticeable thing Virgin Bingo lacks is a good variety of payment options. At the time of writing my options were limited to Credit or debit card, Maestro, Switch or Solo. I always like to have the option of paying by money transfer, such as NETeller or Firepay.

Withdrawals from Virgin Bingo are simple and problem free. Simply use the navigation area on the left of your screen, which will take you to your account. Once there you can make withdrawals onto the card you registered with.

Customer service - 8/10:
Virgin Bingo runs a tight ship when it comes to customer service. First port of call should be the CM’s, who are always friendly and helpful and can be found easily in the chat rooms during bingo games. If your enquiry is not urgent then you can always send an email to their support team. This is usually answered within 45 mins to 2 hours, depending on how busy they are. Alternatively you can consult the Virgin Bingo F.A.Q section, which is pretty comprehensive. If all else fails there is a free UK phone number available 24/7. This is usually pretty good, although at busy times you may have to wait up to 20 mins.

Virgin Bingo does not offer free bingo games, but they do have great bonus offers. For instance, you get £1 just for registering which you can use to play a few trial games. The minimum deposit is £10 and the great news is that Bingo.virgingames.com will match 100 % of your deposit up to £125. So if you deposit £10 into your account, you will actually be credit with £20 to play bingo with.

You can play 10p or 15p bingo games which are the traditional 90 ball games or you can go for the big money and play their snowball and progressive jackpot which can grow into the thousands of pounds. As a matter of fact, some lucky person recently won over £91k from one of the giant jackpots at Virgin Bingo

When you want a break from bingo, you can play other games such as slots and video poker. You can even play mini games in the chat room while paying the main bingo game and double your fun and winnings! And speaking of winnings, when you are ready to withdraw yours, it will be credited back to the same account you used to make your deposit from. The minimum withdrawal is £10.

Virgin Bingo will more than meet your expectations. You will have loads of fun here. The site is safe and secure and you will have a community page where you can keep up with your bingo buddies and view the latest winners. You can also keep tabs on the bingo timetable which lists the bingo game schedules and receive a bingo alert so you won't miss out on a single jackpot. Join the fun at Virgin Bingo where you can win big prizes and chat with celebrities!

Million Virgin Atlantic flying club miles: Need holiday? Want a share of a million flying club miles?

Tempting Tuesday: Winning has never been this easy at Virgin Bingo with the Tempting Tuesday!

July's Games release: This month we have a treat lined up for our bingo players. We are launching 4 brand new games this month that are sure to tickle your fancy.

Virgin Bingo Loyalty Programe:

We are very excited at Virgin bingo. Our brand new player rewards program allows you to earn valuable reward points by simply playing bingo - the game we all love.

Every time you purchase £1’s worth of bingo cards you will receive 10 loyalty points. For every 1000 loyalty points accumulated you can redeem this for £1 of bingo bonus. This allows you to purchase extra bingo tickets alongside normal purchases. 10 loyalty points = 1p bingo bonus

Playing for cash: Converting your loyalty points into bingo bonus is easy. To redeem your points simply choose ‘redeem points’ when you have logged into the the player’s lobby at Virgin bingo. Select the amount of loyalty points you would like to redeem and hit ‘submit’.

High Flyer club: As an even more mouth-watering incentive we have been chatting with our big sister at Virgin Atlantic. We've wangled it so that you can exchange your loyalty points for Virgin's Flying club miles.

Here’s how it works: For every 1000 points you accumulate you will be able to exchange these for 100 Flying club miles. This means that every time you buy 10 bingo cards you will have enough bonus points to go one air mile with Virgin. 10 loyalty points = 1 Flying Club mile

Playing for miles: If you choose to convert your points into Flying Club miles you need to be a member of the Virgin Atlantic Frequent Flyer Programme. If you aren’t a member and wish to join you can sign up here. Once registered you can use your Flying Club membership number to redeem points whenever you choose.

Game Options: Auto daub.

When you pick the Auto Daub option, we’ll automatically mark off the numbers on your ticket when they’re called. This is ideal if you’ve bought too many to keep up with! You’ll know when Auto Daub is on because we’ll put a check mark next to it, and all called numbers will be highlighted in coloured squares.

This feature arranges the tickets in order of performance. If you’re playing a few at once, the ones that start winning will be placed first. We’ll mark them too, so you can see the ones that have "1 to go", "2 to go" or "3 to go". So, you can start getting excited as you get closer to Bingo!

Progressive Jackpot: These ones are winning the popularity stakes! With a Progressive Jackpot, you can win big on low stakes. Yes, just one card can change everything!

Game Features:

Mini games: As well as 90 ball Bingo, we have some ‘mini games’ for you to play too. You can even play them at the same time as the main game, so it really is double the fun!

Video poker: Ah, one of the favourites! It’s part poker, part slots. Plus, your chances of winning are far higher than in the "pure luck" games such as roulette. That’s because here you’re combining luck with strategy. With enough practice, you’ll be playing like a pro.

Slots: We have slots a-plenty! They’re the easiest game to play, and they’re so much fun - especially when you’re winning. Pick from fun games such as 5-reel ‘Trolling for Treasure’ and ‘Get Cracking’ or 3-reel ‘Three Times the Riches’ and ‘Double Scoop Delight’. We also have the arcade classics ‘Double Diamond Spin’ and ‘7s Ablaze’.

Zingo Bonus: As you collect Bingo Bonuses, we’ll display them in the Game Stats window.

Other games: As well as Bingo, we have Slots and Video Poker. You can play these games at the same time as you play Bingo, or in between games. Just pick your game from the drop down window at the top of your bingo screen. The game will launch in a separate pop up window.

Chat: Chat’s the best part of online bingo! It lets you ‘talk’ to the Game Masters, friends and other players. It’s easy to join a chat room - just click on "Join A Room", then pick which one you’d like.

Chat games: There’s another way to have fun and win - if you’re a regular player, you can try out our chat room games. There’s bonus money in there - we’ll give it to active chatters who are playing bingo, with no minimum number of cards. You’re ‘active’ if you’ve made a deposit in the past thirty days, and you need to be playing bingo in the same stream as the chat game. Bingo Bonus money is given at the discretion of the Chat Masters, according to Virgin Bingo specials guidelines, and you can’t withdraw or transfer the bonus money.

Virgin Bingo reserves the right to withdraw any bonus offer, or bonus money, if we think it’s being abused. All bonus offers are subject to change, withdrawal or termination at any time, at the sole discretion of Virgin Bingo. To see a full list of chat games click here.
Chat room bingo bonuses

So we can make sure the bonuses go to the right people, please let your CM know when you’ll be away from your keyboard. Most of our chat games require players to respond to the CM, so if you don’t respond to the CM, then we can’t hold your Bingo Bonus for you.

Some of the better bingo websites have communal areas where you can chat to other players, exchange stories and jokes (some of which are terrible for example Q) What do you call a lady addicted to gambling at bingo? A) Betty!!) also there are areas on the site where they explain jargon to people who have only recently begun to play online bingo . These areas are nice extras to the online bingo site which give players an opportunity to communicate with each other.
